We will be thinking about the liminal spaces in the poetry of Joshua Jennifer Espinoza and Kim Yi-deum, the differences between portals and thresholds, the recent liminal horror film Skinamarink, holes in the film Inland Empire, and images of empty shopping malls and cursed buildings in the subreddit liminalspaces.
Winter Solstice Workshop
This solstice workshop will offer a chance to pause and reflect at the darkest moment of the year.
We will think about the concept of wintering, and how to introduce rest and recovery into our writing practice.
Into the Forest
Together we will explore the journey to the heart of the forest in folk and fairy tales. There will be time to generate the seeds of creative projects, and to set intentions for the coming season.
