Atmospheres holds story up to the light as the seasons shift.
What is Atmospheres?
Atmospheres is a micro-seasonal communal writing practice to generate new work and to rewild existing projects.
By drawing on the atmospheric frequencies of each micro-season, you will deepen your creative practice and your connection to plants, planets, folklore, myth, and ritual.
By paying close attention to the rhythm of celestial and earthly seasons you will develop the tools for compelling storytelling.
What happens between sessions might just alter the course of your project.
what does atmospheres include?
three live sessions per month where we write, or follow rabbit holes, together in an online cocoon. Each ninety minute session includes guidance, writing and research time, and optional sharing of work.
an audio potion sent in advance of each session, via a private podcast feed, to create the atmosphere for each session.
a syllabus to inspire and guide you as you generate new work, or rewild your ongoing projects, drawing on the frequencies of each micro-season.
how does it work?
I send an audio potion to you a day or so before each cocooning session by private podcast. Each potion includes guidance and inspiration for generating or revising work, in tune with the atmosphere of the micro-season.
we meet online to explore the singular atmosphere of the micro-season together. I will guide the group to infuse our writing, or rabbit holes, with the atmosphere.
you have some dedicated time to write or deep dive, in the cocoon with other writers.
For the last part of each session, you will have the chance to share work in progress with your creative peers.
